Extremely ripe grapes from a Gewurztraminer vendanges tardives wine-growing region are picked when they are frozen and pressed on the same night to keep the ice crystals with the pulp. The ice wine gives the fine texture of this Foie Gras a hue of freshness. With its rare aromatic persistence, it shines a light on notes of hazelnut, dried apricot and mellow wine .
Place the jar in the fridge 3 hours before serving. Before opening, put the jar few seconds in hot water for a few seconds, in order to take the Foie Gras out easily.
