This document defines the General Terms and Conditions of Use that govern your subscription to the FAUCHON loyalty card, hereinafter referred to as ""the Madeleine card"", and defines your rights as a member. We recommend that you read this document carefully.
These General Terms and Conditions shall apply as soon as you use your Madeleine card.
Aims of the Madeleine card
The Madeleine card enables its user to collect points when making purchases in FAUCHON stores or restaurants located in place de la Madeleine, Paris 8th. The Madeleine card does not allow the user to collect points when making online purchases.
Regardless of the number of points on the user’s card, all card holders will regularly benefit from extra points that shall be attributed without the need to purchase, for certain exceptional occasions.
The FAUCHON company reserves the right to suspend extra point attributions to holders of cards that have not been used over the past 12 months. Card holders may also have the opportunity to take part in special events.
Issuance of the loyalty card
The Madeleine card is available free of charge, upon the completion of a membership application form available online or in FAUCHON stores located in Place de la Madeleine.
The Madeleine card is sent to the subscriber’s address in the month following the membership request. It is a personal card and can not be sold or given.
Only persons residing in Metropolitan France can obtain this card and exercise these rights.
If the Madeleine card remains unused for two consecutive years, the accumulated points shall be considered to be given up and the card shall be cancelled.
Acquiring points
Each purchase worth 5 euros (€5) for products other than those on promotion, on sale or discounted gives the user the right to earn 1 point, with the price taken into account being the total, tax included, of the items purchased excluding delivery costs, material renting fees and labor costs. These points can not be sold, given away, or exchanged for cash.
Each limit of 30 points will entitle the user to a gift voucher worth eight euros (8 €), hereinafter referred to as “FAUCHON gift check”, which shall be automatically sent to the card holder at his/her home the month following the one during which the limit was reached, with purchases made using FAUCHON gift vouchers not taken into account to calculate this limit.
(1) FAUCHON gift checks that are drawn up tax included, may be used in FAUCHON stores and restaurants located in Place de la Madeleine, Paris 8th.
Under no circumstances can the FAUCHON gift checks be exchanged for cash, give the right for cash reimbursements, and the price of the item purchased using the gift check must exceed the value of the FAUCHON gift check.
FAUCHON gift checks may be used at any time and expire on the expiration date printed on the voucher. FAUCHON gift checks that are defaced, scratched, torn or damaged may not be accepted.
