Tiny barberries have been included in the recipe to evoke holly, the true symbol of winter. Their tangy sweet and sour notes balance harmoniously with the flora notes of blackcurrant pepper. This spice is taken from the blackcurrant buds ground into a powder and adds mellowness and freshness to this meltingly soft foie gras. The clever blend of berries and spices in this exceptional duck foie gras will offer a wonderful taste experience.
Duck foie gras (92%), blackcurrant cream (sugar, water, blackcurrants soaking, alcohol, blackcurrant buds soaking), barberry (2.3%), salt, Coteaux-du-Layon wine, blackcurrant pepper (0.5%), black pepper, sugar, crystal salt, antioxidant: sodium ascorbate, preservative: sodium nitrite.
Keep in cool and dry place.
Consume within 3 days and keep refrigerated after opening.
Place the jar in the fridge 3 hours before serving.
