Champagne Louis Roederer Cristal Rosé 2007
75 cl Bottle
Heir to the Champagne House in 1833, Louis Roederer took the visionary step of enriching his vineyard to control all stages of wine making. He thus forged a unique style, spirit and taste. In the middle of the 19th century, by acquiring vines chosen with instinct and eclecticism from the lands of the great growths of Champagne, Louis Roederer acted against the current of the customs and habits of his time. In 1870, Champagne Roederer travelled to the United States and invited himself to the table of Tsar Alexander III. The first prestigious cuvée was born in 1876 under the name Cristal. Still independent, the house is today managed by Frédéric Rouzaud, who represents the 7th generation. This cuvée was created in 1974 by selecting old Pinot Noir vines from the Grands Crus of Aÿ, today cultivated in biodynamic agriculture. Dosage 8g/l

Beautiful salmon pink color. Restrained bouquet with a rare elegance. The subtle and evanescent aromas come in the form of delicate perfumes, so intermingled and complex that it is very difficult to describe them. It is an invitation to take the time necessary to let yourself be overwhelmed by this wine that reveals itself at its own pace. He is a master of time !... Releasing the fine acidulous, fresh and precise notes: citrus zest, yuzu, forest fruits, tangerine, raspberry, wild strawberry ... then the toasted and almond nuances.
