La bouteille de 75 cL
Francis Egly is certainly one of the greatest and most emblematic winemaker of the mountain of Reims. The estate was created by his Grandfather a little before the war of 40. Asthmatic, he was sent to Champagne because the air was better there and then began to work as a vineyard worker before buying his first vines (3ha). His father doubled the exploitation and today the estate represents 17ha. Out of 700,000 bottles produced, only 100,000 are sold each year and 80% are exported. 5 or 6 years in the cellar, vinified in barrels. Dosage 6/8 grams. The date of disgorging is indicated on each bottle.
