Givry 1er Cru Mademoiselle 2017 Dom Joblot
Jean-Marc Joblot, now joined by his daughter Juliette, and his brother Vincent run this 14 hectare estate with constant attention. The wine is not the result of chance but of a long and thoughtful process where each factor of the production process has been studied to constantly improve it. The knowledge and culture of the profession are important to free oneself from the influence of fashions or consulting oenologists. Organic farming principles (not certified). Disbudding and green harvesting. Manual harvesting with careful sorting on the vine. Clay-limestone soil, age of the vines 35 years, southern exposure. The wine reveals notes of hawthorn, lime blossom and fresh citrus. Stony accents spread to the palate through a chiselled net. A deep wine !
