Leclerc Briant Premier Cru Extra Brut BIO
75 cl Bottle
Five generations of Leclerc Briant have been the forerunners of organic and biodynamic viticulture in Champagne. Created in Cumières in 1872 by Lucien Leclerc, the estate moved to Epernay in 1955. In 2012 the house was bought by an American couple passionate about the French art of living. The bottles are aged in the low cellars at a depth of 35 meters. Today the house exploits 14 hectares mainly in the Grand Cru and Premier Cru biodynamic wines. It is the only wine merchant to source organic grapes. From pressing to disgorging, the house practices a gentle and natural vinification.

The robe has a luminous and dense aspect. This premier cru is a cuvée that develops iodized and fruity notes, with hints of liquorice supported by a lemony acidity with a touch of minerality. The first nose expresses pastry notes reminiscent of brioche and butter. The mouth is creamy, pulpy and melting. The aromatic precision reinforces the pleasure.
