Box of 8 glazed chestnuts

A symbol of delicacy and excellence, FAUCHON glazed chestnuts are made according to a traditional recipe, preserving the flavors of yesteryear and making them an exceptional delicacy. Selected from the finest fruits of Naples, they are carefully sorted for roundness and regular size.

Wrapped two by two in tulle muslin, the chestnuts are candied for 7 to 10 days in a syrup made from sugar, glucose syrup and Madagascar Bourbon vanilla. During cooking, the temperature is gradually lowered to allow the syrup to penetrate gently to the heart of the fruit, while driving out the water. Once candied, the chestnuts are covered with a thin film of translucent, satiny powdered sugar syrup, for a perfect glaze.
Our glazed chestnuts contain more fruit than sugar, and additives free, preservatives free, GMO free, gluten free, fat free, so you can be sure of a high-quality tasting experience.
