Preparation of our iced recipe
Infuse 2 teaspoons of tea in 50 cl of water at 80 for 3 minutes. Let cool, then refrigerate for 2 hours. Serve chilled with a few ice cubes, a slice and/or a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, and a mint leaf for an extra touch of freshness. For a delicious touch, add a spoonful of FAUCHON acacia honey to dissolve while hot before chilling. A refreshing drink perfect for sunny days.

Our soft Fauchon green tea and lemon ginger cakes

For this unique cake, start by infusing 2 teaspoons of Fauchon green tea and lemon ginger in 20 cl of hot water, then let it cool. In a bowl, mix 150 g of flour, 100 g of sugar, 1 sachet of baking powder, 3 eggs, and 80 g of melted butter. Gently fold the cooled infusion into the mixture to flavor the batter. Add the zest of one lemon and a pinch of powdered ginger to intensify the flavors. Pour into a greased pan and bake for 35 minutes at 180. Let cool before removing from the pan. This delicately scented cake is perfect for a relaxing moment or a cup of tea with friends.

Sensory analysis

A balanced green tea, which has almost no bitterness. Ginger brings pep without being too present. It is a blend with very balanced flavors.
