La différence vient du traitement des feuilles après la récolte. Le thé noir est entièrement oxydé, ce qui lui donne un goût plus corsé. Le thé vert n’est pas oxydé et développe des notes plus végétales et fraîches.

Un thé d’origine provient d’une région reconnue pour la qualité de sa production, comme la Chine, le Japon ou l’Inde. Son goût dépend du climat, du sol et du savoir-faire local.
