Organic culture. The vineyard which is classified as a Premier Cru is often delimited into several distinct zones, which are associated with locations or morphological characteristics. However, we forget to underline the great unity of this unit positioned in the middle of the hillside which goes from Pommard to Meursault. This unity is due in part to the fact that the 'terroir' of Volnay is not really cut by a Combe - the case of Pommard for example - because the geological notch which shares the fining is in fact a dry Combe which has therefore not generated any silty deposits.
