The house exists since 1743. The cuvée brut imperial owes its name to the Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte who would have given the Legion of Honor to Jean-Rémy Moët. His grandson was the first to conquer the international market and quickly transformed the brand into a worldwide symbol of celebration. Made with the finest grapes, Dom Pérignon reflects an absolute commitment to the vintage. There can only be one year of Dom Pérignon exclusively, a real challenge for an original interpretation of the seasons. Each vintage reflects an infinite confidence in the constantly renewed Creative Power of the Cellar Master Vincent Chaperon. Reasoned viticulture. Dosage 9g/l

DescriptionThe tropical notes of guava and curry leaf blend with the more classic notes of zest and ripe stone fruit. Cocoa and roasted spices complete the picture. The vinosity is tonic, the initial richness grows and asserts itself, more physical, solid and structured. The lengthening is remarkable, vaguely folded and on the juicy bitterness of the blood orange.
Grape varietyPinot Noir & Chardonnay
Food and wine pairingDom Pérignon Rosé 2005 is an extremely carnal champagne. Its fresh acidity, its granular tannin and its sap underline its tactile side. The lively structure of this wine is perfectly enhanced by seafood. It can be served with langoustines and hummus, or with mimosa eggs, caviar and raw asparagus salad. Dom Pérignon Rosé 2005 reveals all its minerality with smoky notes when accompanied by meat, for example beef sashimi.
