Biodynamic wine. The parcel of 'Mitans' of the Domaine, which comes from the word 'milieu', is remarkably located halfway up the slope and exposed to the east. The nose of ' Mitans ' is often very floral, with nuances of violet and spices, oriental and complex with notes of small black fruits (blackberries, blackcurrants, cherries). On the palate, the structure is dense and tight but the tannins are still coated, which gives the wine a lot of smoothness and a voluptuous texture. The finish is spicy, slender, elegant. This is probably the most sensual and carnal Volnay of the Domaine.
