Champagne Roederer Rosé 2012
75 cl Bottle
Heir to the Champagne House in 1833, Louis Roederer took the visionary step of enriching his vineyard in order to control all the stages of wine making. He thus forged a unique style, spirit and taste. In the middle of the 19th century, by acquiring vines chosen with instinct and eclecticism from the lands of the great growths of Champagne, Louis Roederer acted against the current of the customs and habits of his time. In 1870, Champagne Roederer travelled to the United States and invited himself to the table of Tsar Alexander III. The first prestigious cuvée was born in 1876 under the name Cristal. Still independent, the house is today managed by Frédéric Rouzaud, who represents the 7th generation. Reasoned culture. Vinification in casks, 36 months of maturation and 6 months of rest after disgorging.

Accords mets et vins : As an aperitif, smoked salmon, fish carpaccio, wild turbot fillet, dessert based on red fruits.
The fruity aromas of wild red berries are followed by floral, zesty, sweet and spicy notes, while the nuances of dried fruit and cocoa evoke oak ageing. Rich, fleshy, the Vintage Rosé exalts the maturity of the fruit. With its shimmering effervescence and first impression of freshness, it opens with sweetness on almost exotic notes, mixed with the pure minerality of the Chardonnays.
